Today, I want to share with you a quick, but very effective real estate video marketing secrets. These little secrets can be used on your blog, your own site, and on other social media sites (if they allow video postings). But before I go and give you the real estate video marketing secrets, here are couple of important points I need to share with you.
Point 1: Prepare your video content before you start recording. You don’t want to stop in the video to think, stutter and go hmmmmm. if you write out what you are going to say, your video will look more professional.
Point #2: Make sure you research keywords you want to optimize your videos for. Many video sharing sites allow you to add tags to their videos to help you rank high in search engines. That’s where you’ll input your keywords.
One more thing in regards to keywords, read my recent breaking news story on Google’s Audio Indexing Technology. This will ensure your video’s future success.
I won’t keep you waiting any longer. Here’s the basic real estate video marketing strategy…
Real Estate Video Marketing Step #1: Create a video of yourself on a webcam or capture your computer screen using screen capture software.
I recommend 2 different screen capture software programs. First, there is a Free screen capture software called CamStudio. It works great but is not as good a a paid software called Camtasia Studio.
If you are just starting out and don’t have a big budget for screen capture software, I would go with the free version. But if you can afford Camtasia Studio, then believe me, it is well worth it. I use Camtasia Studio when I do my screen captures and it is one of the best software programs I have on my computer.
Real Estate Video Marketing Step #2: While recording, make sure you have the following items checked off. First, make sure you provide great content in your video. Otherwise, if the video is a sales pitch, people will leave. Second, include a watermark at the bottom of your video directing people back to your site.
Both software programs can do that for you. Also, mention your site at least 3 times in your video, possibly at the beginning, the middle and at the end. Remember, repetition works. When mentioning your site, tell your visitors to perform some kind of an action and you’ll reward them with a free gift when they arrive at your site.
You must give them an irresistible offer so they’ll go through the trouble and click on the link or type in your site in the address bar.
Real Estate Video Marketing Step #3: Submit your new real estate video to your blog, YouTube and other social media video hosting sites. These sites can include revver.com, metacafe.com, Yahoo video, and Google Video. For a more complete list of video sharing sites, you can visit Wikipedia’s Video Sharing Sites list.
When submitting to Youtube.com, make sure you include your website url on the first line of your video description. When typing your url, write your url like this: http://www.yoursite.com (input your site name in place of yoursite). You have to include the http:// tag in the description. This will ensure that your url is clickable.
So there you go. These 3 easy steps will get you noticed throughout the internet. Your videos will start to rank higher in the search engines and you’ll start getting more traffic to your site.
So, how was this strategy? Do you have any questions? Let me know and I'll try to answer them for you.
To Your Success,
Peter K.
