FELICE EARNS NEW TITLE AT BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS REAL ESTATE LLC

Parsippany, New Jersey -  Phil Felice, a member of the sales team at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate®, LLC headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey has been promoted from Regional Vice President--Northeast to Managing Regional Vice President--East.

 In Felice's new position, he will oversee the entire mid-West, Northeast, mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States. 

The promotion is of particular interest to Tom Wilkins, Broker and Owner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Wilkins was the first Broker to become a Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate® company under the licensing agreement Meredith Publishing has with Realogy Corp. 

Meredith Corporation is the owner of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine and the name Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate®.  That name is licensed to Realogy who owns such common real estate franchises as Coldwell Banker, ERA and Century 21. Felice and Wilkins became acquainted when Wilkins approached corporate about becoming a Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate broker. 

Said Thomas R. Wilkins, "Phil and I have really grown up together in the new Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.  He's been with me from the very beginning and I am literally thrilled to see him promoted to such a valuable position with the company."   In his new position, Phil will be responsible for the salespersons handling bringing on new members and brokers as well as assisting existing Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brokers expand their businesses. 

On a personal note, said Felice, "Tom has been a very big supporter of me with the company and has assisted me in getting to where I am today.  This promotion will just allow us to become closer friends and business associates; plus it will give me a good excuse to visit him in the Poconos."

 Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates prior to consolidating their offices in the downturn of the real estate market had offices in Pike County, historic Milford, Dingmans Ferry, Pocono Lake, the West End and Mount Pocono..

This June, the company is looking forward to reopening the Mt. Pocono location with their new office at 102 Pocono Boulevard set to open on June 1^st.

EXPLORER GLOBAL AWARD GOES TO BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS

Addison, Texas - Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates has received the Explorer Global Reward presented by Global Home USA in recognition of their selling home warranties to buyers in 2010.  

Global Home USA, located in Addison, Texas, sells home warranties throughout the United States.  The home warranties cover major operating systems and appliances regardless of age, make or model for a buyer when they purchase the warranty at closing.  Said Thomas P. McDonough, Director of Sales, "The Wilkins organization is our main representative for Northeast Pennsylvania.  2010 was Wilkins' first year, but it seems like they've been in the home warranty business for a lot longer.  They do an excellent job representing buyers (and sellers) with home warranties."

Stroudsburg - Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates announced the continued expansion of their fulltime Relocation Department located at the 304 Park Avenue office. 

The Wilkins organization remains a member of Employers' Resource Council (ERC) and was chosen again by a premier provider of global mobility management located in Connecticut.  This is the third year that Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates has been chosen to represent them in Northeast Pennsylvania. 

ERC, located in Ohio, is a worldwide relocation network of the top real estate Brokers in the United States.  Member Brokers handle corporate, broker to broker and Fortune 500 moves through brokers who have joined their network.  Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates has been a member of ERC for the past 7 years.

In addition to relocation services, the department will also focus on outgoing referrals and will re-promote their Commission Rebate Program whereby a person sells their home in the Poconos and then has up to 18 months to relocate to another area and purchase a home.  When they do, a portion of their commission charged in the sale of their Pocono home is credited to their new purchase.  "Our commission rebate program was very successful at the height of the market.  When the housing industry slowed down, it wasn't used as much.  We're hoping it will be used extensively in 2011." said Dominick J. Sacci, President of the Wilkins organization.

Wells joins the Wilkins and Associates Sales Team

 Stroudsburg – Robert “Bob” Wells has joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Wilkins & Associates and will be working out of their Stroudsburg office, announces the company’s President, Dominick J. Sacci. 

Wells graduated from the Pocono Real Estate Academy in October of 2010. He also has a BA in Journalism from New Mexico State University, and an MS in Journalism from Kansas State University.   

Wells will continue his duties as an income maintenance caseworker for the Department of public Welfare. Previously, Wells had been a reporter for the Pocono Record. 

Originally from San Diego, California, Wells has lived in Pocono Lake for the last 10 years. Wells says, “I will be teaming up with my wife Kim, who has been a licensed real estate professional for the last 3 years. I look forward to learning from her and the Management Team at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates”.

WILKINS & ASSOCS AWARDS THE CARL MAURER TEAM - TOPS IN SALES 2010

Bushkill - Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates announced Friday that the Carl Maurer Team was number one in the company in sales for 2010. 

The announcement was made by Dominick J. Sacci, President, in an interview at the Corporate office. The Carl Maurer Team consists of Carl Maurer, Assoc Broker, Dennis Farrelly, Realtor, James Martin, newest member of the team and Donna Sorrentino, Maurer's licensed Administrative Assistant.  Collectively, they handle over 15 banks, various lenders and REO companies including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in listing and selling foreclosed properties. 

Said Carl Maurer, "While the market is still a bit depressed, we were pleased with our overall numbers for the year."  Maurer has been with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates since 1998 when he joined the company as a Realtor.  Maurer comes from New Jersey where he'd been in the bank and REO business for 20 years. The Carl Maurer Team closed or sold over $14.7 million in real estate for 2010. 

Their closed sales figures do not include rentals which also are handled by The Carl Maurer Team through James Martin. The Carl Maurer Team has been located at the Bushkill office for the past 5 years and just recently expanded to add Martin as a Buyer's Broker.
