Business Card Design

Monday, November 08

I have had people ask what my business card looks like.  I just had to order more and thought I would share my design.

I order from fedex office in the heavy stock.

This is the card I give to tenants and at showings.

Nice design..Does the name "Vandelay" has any significance to George Coztanza and the Seinfeld episode? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vandelay_Industries

Where is the like button for the previous Seinfeld references?

On another note, I just read an article on Entrepreneur.com regarding the back of your cards real estate. There was some really good ideas. Some of them being almost 'obvious' in this 'Social Media/New Media' day in age and placing a twitter/facebook url on the card. Using the back of it to provide the customer with something of value, whether it be a calender, a list of services/products or something again of value to the customer who receives your card. Have you thought about that and is it something you would/could incorporate?

nick, i think that's a great idea..an investor gave me his card the other day, and on the back was some sort of amortization schedule for a 100,000 loan..i thought it was a neat gimmick to keep in my wallet

    Nice looking card.

Do you use the back of the card?

I would recommend ditching the gmail acct and using the email address at your domain.

I used to use the back of the card to tell people that I bought property. I never got a single deal from it so I took it off. It looked cheap. I like it a lot better now. It is much cleaner.
