Heritage District in Downtown Gilbert – The heritage district in Gilbert marks the original Gilbert town site and is the historic center of the community. The area includes restaurants, shops, offices, and the Hale Center Theatre which is the longest continuously running, privately owned and operated theater company in America. (Located near the intersection of Gilbert Rd & Elliott Rd).
Freestone Park –Freestone Park features ball fields, sport courts, a train, batting cage, playgrounds and picnic ramadas. Also within the park you will find and amphitheater, Gilbert's Skate Park and the Freestone Recreation Center. There are activities available for everyone to enjoy. (Located between Lindsay and Val Vista off Guadalupe)
San Tan Village – One of the newest shopping areas in the East Valley gives you every reason to shop ‘til you drop. The outdoor Village includes hundreds of stores as well as restaurants, salons, Harkins Movie Theatre, and more. (Located at the corner of the 202 San Tan Freeway and Williams Field Rd)
Cosmo Dog Park – Ranked one of the top dog parks in the Valley, Cosmo Dog Park provides fun for the entire family. The park has 4 fenced acres and is lighted for night use. There are 3 picnic ramadas, a basketball court, tot lot, and lake for your dog to enjoy. (Located just East of Greenfield Rd and Ray Rd intersection)
