Beginner's Guide to Florida Tax Lien Certificate Auctions

Like my website, it's to-the-point and doesn't include any promises that you'll become wealthy or buy properties at cents on the dollar.  In fact, it's been very tough to get any sort of decent yields in Florida.  The auctions are so competitive right now that it's very difficult to get yields much above the 5% penalty you earn at purchase.  I had a little bit of luck with buying residential land and some commercial properties, but was undercut across the board this year.

This is the first in a series of e-guides on the different states I've had experience buying tax lien certificates in.  It covers bidding, due diligence, applying for deeds and how to handle properties if they are not sold at clerk sale.
