Keep Pushing!!

What a great year so far in real estate!!! Things have been moving right along! After finally selling our first rehab, we continue forward with our second on the market. This time around we were in and out of the renovations in 30 days. The market has slowed a little bit in the area because of the overload of investor rehabbed properties. Same thing across the board when I talk to other investors.  So that why in my opinion that the wholesaling portion is so important! We have stepped our marketing for properties and have added some great investors to our team. Together we can achieve more!!! We are sending out an average of 4000 letters a month and look to get to 6000 here in the next 60days. It's such a great feeling!! Things are a little crazy right now and we're trying to get the systems in place to handle this type of volume on a regular basis. People are always looking for better and clear cut real estate wholesaling systems......... I can't really say that I have a clear definition or the golden ticket systems. I continue to talk to other investors and see what they are using and see if its something that we might use for our business. In just 2 short years we have grown so much. I continue to surround myself with positive people and like minded individuals. Is my business perfect? NO SIR! Have I made a lot of mistakes..... YES... but I have learned and grown from those steps! You can't be scared to step outside of your comfort zone. That's how you grow. If it is any advice that I can give to some of the newer people coming in to this field would be stay consistent!! If you want to do bandit signs, then do them, if you want to do direct marketing, then do it. Excuses are for the weak and unsuccessful! There is no reason why you can't take a few dollars and do some type of marketing. I started with guerrilla marketing. If you don't know what that is, that is any marketing that is free. I was printing letters myself, going to the courthouse to do pinks. You name it, I did it in the beginning. Instead of saying why you can't do it, say the reasons why you can. One of the most important things that I heard from one of the Reia meetings was..... Know your WHY!!! Why do you want to do it? What are you doing it for? If you can't honestly answer these questions yourself, then you have some work to do. My WHY is my kids and control of my families future. That I why I get up everyday and do what I do. In my search for knowledge on a regular basis and to learn some new technique that I didn't do yesterday, I have been invited to speak at a REIA event! What? How exciting is that! Never done it before or nor do I know even how to being. Here we go, outside that box again. Once again, new relationships!  I welcome new beginnings, and new relationships! You learn by doing, wether its right or wrong, you learn and adjust! So here is to growth, continued success, new relationships.
