Do NOT become a Motivated Buyer

Yep, the title to this blog refers to motivated buyers.  And you do NOT want to be one of them.

I often see newbies on here who are so excited to get that first lead.  And that's great!  Great progress that so many people never achieve!  But realize that most leads will not be deals.  And, to get a good deal, you need to be in a negotiation position of strength.  In other words, you need to be ready, willing, and able to walk away from the deal.

Let me just say this - If you need some income from a deal so terribly badly that you just HAVE to get a deal, then you don't need to be investing in real estate or flipping houses.  You need a job instead (or a second one) until you can get your financial situation in order.  Once you do that, you will be in a much better position to find and negotiate great deals.

  1. Excellent advice!!!!

When you're hungry for money you can't perceive if is a good or a bad deal, you just want money, and that's the only thing you won't get.

    Thank Bryan.
