Website Advertising

This is the fourth in my installments of 101 ways to make money in real estate. Like I said, at the beginning, they are not in order. I leave it up to the editors of the website(s) to do that for me.  I have also determined that I will probably post a couple times a week, to keep the ideas fresh.

The posts title is a self explanatory method and easy to do, in order to make money. On your real estate website, sell advertising space. Start local, use small companies that are looking for cheap advertising. Especially if they don't really have a budget. I had a contractor once offer to paint my house for a years worth of ads on one of my webpages. We worked out some minor details and I got $300 instead for six months on two pages total. The contractor made out like a bandit in the deal. It gave him seven new clients and he came back asking to do it again.

Sign up for Google's Adsense, they will pay you based on the number of times their ads are clicked on from your pages. With proper SEO, you could actually make more from advertising than from your own leads.

Another good way to make money from your real estate website is to allow your competition to use your site for a moderate fee. Let them list their properties, and even allow them to have a contact form, that you mirror to your inbox (legally can be done).  Why do you think Google, allows it's competition to constantly advertise? They are making more money.

The most important way to make money from your website is through lead generation. Anthony Coleman is a master of dominance on web optimization for real estate. Read all his blogs to learn how to generate more leads than you can ever use. And then buy and sell real estate from these leads that your website generated for you, through advertising.

For future reference, this adviceisn't just limited to real estate.
