I hate math..

I hate math, yes I did just say that.

If you happen to be someone who is fond of the mathematical universe, that's great.

But personally, I hate it.

I think it all goes back to when I was a kid. I absolutely dreaded math class. And when I say dread I mean dread.

More so to the fact that I tried to overcompensate by doing well in other classes. (A+ in english).

And no, I don't need any lectures- I know that in order to be a successful entrepreneur I need to know what I am doing math wise.

I mean, believe me, I know. I am currently studying for the real estate broker exam and I am on the math section right now. I am actually on the math exam section that contains 43 questions. As you can probably guess from the title of this post, I am thrilled to take this exam.

You may say, but hey Ty (as my friends call me), being a broker and investor, you have to be able to calculate simple formulas to solve for the answer to basic real estate problems. Also, you have to know how much in commissions you will be earning!

These are fair points.

When I decided a short time ago to make real estate my profession, I vowed to take on all problems, big and small, math and otherwise, that may arise. Math is like the boogeyman, and I am ready and willing to let him out from the closet and pummel him into submission if he even mutters a single word.

I plan on spending the rest of my free time this evening completing and passing the 43 question math exam for my broker licensing course. If I do not pass the first time I will be diligent and take it again until I receive a passing grade.

Take that, math.

  2. @Tyrone Green you don't have to be an expert at math, just get a team member that has your best interests as a priority, and excels at math haha

Good luck with your self Improvement.
