Episode 7 – The Feet Dragging

As I struggle to write this post I’ve come to realized that I am now getting to the point where I am dreading to write instead of being excited to write my weekly blog.  The process of falling off the wagon is so similar to that of staying fit that it’s hard not to compare one to the other.

It all starts with one thing and it leads to another.  To quote one of my favorite authors, Jim Rohn, “What’s easy to do is easy not to do”.  You see, it starts with a cold then it becomes an excuse and finally full blown laziness.

Well…. to interrupt this blog post, ladies and gentlemen, some people have been reading my stuff and apparently one of them is Joshua Dorkin.  He made a comment on my most recent blog, episode 6 and it’s freaking me out.

Well I was going to lament and cry in this post, but I guess that’s now changed.  Ok so basically I didn’t do anything this last week either.  My only saving grace is attending the RE prelicensing classes I’ve signed up for.  I did listen to a few more podcasts but now it’s like a constant reminder how much I’m not doing.

However, that’s all ok cuz you know, Josh Dorkin commented on my post, therefore I should be alright.  Hahaha, still freaking out….  Well, I know for sure this coming week I will be taking some real action.  I think most importantly I will be putting specific tasks into my calendar instead of just remembering them.

The thing with a busy schedule is that you can use it to make an excuse.  Much like when missing a workout becomes missing multiple workouts, tomorrow is always there waiting for you.  I apologize for the scattering of thoughts presented here in this post.  And I want to thanks those who commented on my previous post.

Sorry again for the unorganized thoughts here, maybe next time I’ll write the post first before checking out my profile on BP.  Anyway, got to go and put something down on the calendar and do some more planning for the week.  Until next week, peace.

  1. @Barbara Goodman , thank you for the suggestions and comments.  I will definitely keep your ideas in mind.

  2. I think this is an excellent format.  You have put your self in a box and on display.  Now you have put yourself in a position where you are forcing your self to do somethiing.  Investing in N Carolina sounds easier then New York of Conn. there must be plenty to buy in N.C.

Why aren't you talking about 3 1/2% down and living in  duplex or a Quad in order to get started tomorrow?
