Very professional and easy to navigate .... things to consider:
1) provide testimonials to add credibility
2) include an 'about us' section - personalize it so folks can relate and understand why you're good at what you do
3) blog or maybe an article detailing current events in your real estate market
I like the overall layout and color scheme. :D
Thanks Ted for the feedback. You made some really valid suggestions. I defiantly can see your point when it comes to the "about us" section and also the blog or article section will give the client a peek inside current market trends. I will get to work on both area.
Just a quickie...
Make sure you have your copyrights and etc on the bottom of each page!
Some find it mundane, but it gives it a more professional feel. Plus, you don't want people taking your content.
Having a copyright notice won't prevent people from taking your content, Tiger. The irony about people stealing content is that EVERY content thief we've dealt with would publish a copyright notice on their site, indicating that the content they stole is their copyright.
It is important to have, but it won't stop the bad guys.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the copyright gave you the right to take legal action against someone that infringes upon it.
Not having it is basically saying your info is up for grabs.
Sure it gives you legal rights. Enforcing those rights by filing, fighting, and winning a lawsuit is a completely different matter.
Thanks guys I will speak with my web designer and check it out. Josh and John what did you guys think about my website?
Did you pay for someone to design the site or did you do it yourself, Ty?
First off, you should never use a black background with white text. It makes it difficult to read.
Otherwise, I couldn't find anywhere on the site where you focus your investments. What part of the country are you based? What city?
Fill me in a bit here and we'll see what we can do for you . . .

Thanks Josh,
but in the very first sentence on the home page it says"GlobalOne Real Estate Consulting & Management LLC is a corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia."
And later in the same paragraph it says ..." that not only provides services in Atlanta, but on a nationwide level as well."
What other suggestions do you have as far as me identifying my market? Should I dedicate a whole page about the Atlanta market and its trends?
Yes I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
Ty -
I fixed the link in your sig to activate it for you. That said, the fact that I couldn't find it speaks to a usability issue. If I couldn't find it (and I was looking), I'm sure others have the same problem.
In looking at the text, you talk about your company and what it does. What you should be talking about it how your website can help people with their problems/needs.
I'd also lose the quotes from famous people and replace them with testimonials from real people.
That's a start . . .
BTW - Did you build it or did you pay someone?

Josh, Thanks for fixing the link for me I was unsure on the right way to get that done.
Im not sure what you mean by a usability issue. Are you speaking about me identifying my market or the website itself?
I felt that I was helping people with their needs such as client consultation, loan origination, project management etc. Can you give me some examples of you what you mean?
Point taken on famous people quotes.
Im sorry Josh you asked me if I built the site or paid for it the last post. I paid for it to be done by a designer in India through Elance. He is a wonderful guy very easy to work with and very professional. I can forward his contact info if you need it.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Josh,
BTW- I paid the designer $150 and its hosted by godaddy
I was more curious if you paid someone a ton of money to make it, as there are some problems I see with SEO and otherwise. These things, if corrected, can help you and your site get seen.
When I talk about usability, I mean making it easier for your users to use the site - that includes reading the text, etc.
While you may be helping people with their needs, if they can't get through all that text to find out what you do, they aren't going to get any help, right?

Josh,
I would appreciate any suggestions you can make concerning the SEO. When the guy designed the site we never spoke about SEO which I know very little about so I know there are some issues.
I am seriously considering changing the black background for better visibility. Also Im looking into reducing the amount of text making it easier to see what it is I have to offer.
What exact suggestions do you have concerning the SEO. I appreciate the help.
Do you know how to edit the website files? For starters, you need to edit your title tag and you'll also need to add some META tags. Any designer should do that standard, but I guess they didn't in this case.

White text on a black background is a big readability issue for most people.
The other major issue with your website is keywords. I don't know what your purpose is, but you will not attract much organic traffic from the SE's with the keywords you are using.
Hey Josh, I have no idea on how to do that but I will send an email to my designer right now and see what he knows. I can only guess that the reason he did not address this is because I did not ask. I will check into it a little further and I might have to find someone else to deal with.
Paul- My purpose is to assist investors/homebuyers by offering a variety of services ranging for loan origination to tenant placement in the Atlanta market. I will also speak with the designer about keywords.
Guys thanks for your help. I guess you get what you pay for. I thought I got a deal.
Let us know once you make some updates and we'll have another look for you.

Try not to use the stock pictures. It makes the site look like every other person who used stock pics.
