Getting a Realtor on Your Team w/ Short Sales

Earlier today as promised, James and I spoke to another Realtor. It wasn't the greatest call but its all there a-z, damn near everything you're going to need to know when speaking with a Realtor. It was a total of about 30 mins broken up into three 10 minute videos as follows

Be warned, this is an actual conversation, not some made up GURU crap and I'm not selling anything at the end of the videos, matter of fact, I don't even mention any website, product or best thing since sliced bread. This was a real call.

Wow that was painful... What I take away from that conversation is perhaps I should screen REALTORS a little better to avoid those that are absolutely without a clue.

Great idea guys, just a little too much set-up time in getting the REALTOR up to speed. Perhaps edit-out the first 15 minutes and leave the rest!

I did have a screening call with him on Monday. He wasn't as 'mentally absent' then which is why I decided to use him for the video. I was a little surprised that he wasn't really 'getting it' this conversation. The 2nd and 3rd videos you can clearly see it does get a little better.

btw, where's your videos Scott?

Nick, Thanks for taking the time to get these going. The third one works fine now. I actually benefited from the fact the Realtor had some questions and was confused. You showed how to answer his questions and keep him on topic.

Thanks for sharing. You are always an asset to BP - and with entertainment value. The realtors grasp was a bit of a challenge, but a good indicator of what you can run into. An idea for the sequel (Nicks Calls - Volume 2) - a call with an experienced realtor that hates investors and flips - they start with the vulture attitude and you smooth talk him/her into loving the idea of additional commissions. :lol:

Great idea Ted if it weren't for the fact that I just hang up on those guys. They're not worth the time. This guy, although not the best of phone calls, I know he'll 'get it' very shortly and will be motivated to produce results.
