I thought it might be interesting for people to see some real numbers that I see when someone's financial worksheet hits my desk. [it may be a perspective client or just a friend who wants to know my thoughts].

Then I'll put down my thoughts and ideas, and others can chime in. If we have and lenders or servicers here, they can weighn in too, hopefully with what the modification would be (best estimate of course). You'll get an idea who is a good candidtate and who isn't, and what can be done to maximize the payment reduction, if any (most times there can). And my thoughts on what the mod might look like in the end.

No names or anything, no details. Just a look at what I see initially. And if I'm still here on this forum (I have other interests, too) in 2-5 months, what the mod offer came back at.

Sound interesting or not?

I think it is a good idea, then those having challenges can really see what they need. Those who are helping others can also use this as reference.

I think its a great idea, a good learning tool. I'm trying to do one for one of my properties, and in the future, would like to do for others as well. thanks, Fran
