The bank now owns my Riverside Co., CA house and I have just been served the 3/60 Foreclosure Notice to Quit and a Summons for my eviction. I just turned down a cash for keys deal from the bank. How long can I stretch it out? How long before the sheriff kicks me out? Is there any kind of notice before hand that the sheriff is on his way? I'm asking because I'm in the (slow) process of moving to a different town and am going back and forth. I would hate to return to find that the locks have been changed and I've lost some of my stuff.
