LLC taxes in Virginia

Hi! My husband and I are preparing to establish an LLC for our buy-and-hold rental properties. Does anyone know how Virginia taxes LLCs comprised of a husband and wife? (e.g. sole proprietorship, partnership). Thanks in advance!
