I am investing in Columbus as well (I live here). I am also looking for private lenders. I currently have a self directed IRA and would be willing to lend funds from it. Conversely, I could borrow from yourself, or anyone else interested, to do some deals. This is a true win win. PM me if you are interested. Thanks.

Go after self directed IRA and 401k owners, that should get you a great start.

You could also buy lists of bank CD owners above X amount. They are prime candidates for you, assuming you really have good investments.
