Here's the scenario:

There's an REO from Bank of America which I'm interested in purchasing. I have made multiple attempts to contact the listing agent, both by phone and email, and have received only one response. The response was an email from the agent's assistant asking me to sign a Confidentiality Agreement. I executed the document and sent it back. I have again made multiple attempts to reach them. To this date the agent has yet to respond. I have checked listings on BOFA's REO website, the property is still available.

Any advice as to what I can or should do?

Mike

Assuming you are withing driving distance, go to the office and sit in the lobby and ask for the person. Don't be like a stalker or act weird, but just show up and ask to see them. It speaks volumes much louder than leaving a message on their voice mail.....

Lb, Do you have an agent working for you? Any agent can submit your offer so you don't necessarily have to deal with the listing agent. If they will not respond, find one that will and get your offer in. Best of luck.

Some offices have gotten so busy that they forgot to higher buyers agents. The phones just ring and ring but no one is there to pick up the calls. To reiterate what was already said, " get an agent" .

There is one REO agent in my area that I don't even bother calling any more because he just will not call back. And it's not just me, because I've heard from other agents that he is difficult to get in touch with. After a while I just learned to go around him and submit my offer through another agent. It makes no difference to me how my offer gets there.
