I have several properties in the metro detroit area. I am trying to understand, 1) what types of loans or financial products are available to help investors purchase homes (single/bulk purchases), 2) where do I go to get them help with financing or loans.
Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply but most investors have a connection with a smaller local community bank in the commercial lending department. They either have a line of credit (which floats) or cross collateralize (offering up equity on paid for properties) or 5 year balloon type loans (15-20 year amorterization). That enables them to make a cash offer on a property and borrow fix up money so that they can get long term financing later on.
Now you can only have 4 mortgages if the loan will be sold to Freddie Mac. I assume Fannie Mae will follow that reasoning. It pays to be picky on what mortgages you hold on your credit report right now.
