Day one back in May of 2014 negotiating the deal.
August of 2015 after rehabbing the homes and selling them off to investors. Picking up his check from the Angelo Russo the closing attorney.
This is not me bragging, but I am really proud of my son, he said he wanted to try a real estate deal, so I let him.
I made him save some money, and then I would teach him how to get owner financing and get creative for the rest. He really stepped up to the plate and negotiated his own purchase, worked on a deal with his contractors, found his tenants and negotiated the lease and ultimately sold it to a group of international real estate investors that buy here in the states.
I know it is a little crazy to teach your kids an adult game, but I don't know how to throw a ball, so if I cant teach him something,I failed as a parent, LOL!
I thought I was young when I started, LOL! Now I just have to get him to bed and off of craigslist looking for his next deal..... he has school tomorrow! LOL!
A special thanks to all of my friends and business contacts that worked with George and treated him with respect as if he were an adult during this journey.
This is not a result of a massive coaching program, this was just a little advice and connections with a bunch of hard work. Anyone reading this post can achieve the same thing by just taking action. Just wanted to share because I thought it would inspire someone to take the next step. :-)
