We launched a few important changes to the site tonight.

1 - Members can invite others, by email, to join any company in our companies directory, by clicking the invite link in the Employees section of a company's profile. We hope this will help encourage you to get others from your businesses to join BP, and of course, is a great way to help market your company.

2 - Member Status in Dashboard now allows for conversation - members can now respond to the status of any of their colleagues! We hope this encourages you to interact with one another a bit more . . . makes things a bit more interactive. There are more changes along these lines to come.

3 - Monitored Topics Upgraded - When you click on the list of watched forum threads on the right of the dashboard, instead of just seeing a list of those topics that you follow, you will see a list of those topics, showing the most recently updated first. This suggestion came from a member.

Now, users will have a feed of those topics that they are monitoring, like the normal dashboard forum feed. The difference, of course, is that those are the specific topics that you select to monitor - that and you can unsubscribe to them by clicking the red X next to any topic on the list.

4 - Private Message Archive Fix - until now, when someone responded to a PM that was in their mail archive, the message thread would stay in the archive. This led to people wondering why they couldn't find a discussion, despite getting an email notifying them there was an update.

We've fixed the issue. Now, if you archive a PM conversation and someone responds, that thread will show up in your inbox.

5 - Who Voted For a Post - We've upgraded our tracking system, so now members will see a question mark icon next to the voting link on a thread if there are any votes. When you click on the question mark, you'll see a dropdown that lists those members who have voted for the post, with links back to their profiles.

6 - Recent Voting Activity for a Member - If you look at the right sidebar of a member's profile, you'll see those forum topics or bulletins that they voted for recently. There is also a list of all votes that member has made overall.

7 - We've made a bunch of other smaller fixes, upgrades, changes as well.
