Has anyone ever seen this?
looked at a townhouse today formerly a Freddie foreclosure. Sheetrock cut at base as if water damage. Don't think it was a flood but probably a burst pipe. Base cabinets in kitchen also missing.
Property is winterized.
In addition to missing sheetrock, the ductwork is covered with plastic and cabinets, refrigerator, stove, and any openings are outlined with painters tape. On the second floor, the attic ceiling is partially removed also.
Is this some sort of mold remediation or just winterization? I am going to do an inspection on this one but am really curious. There's no mold smell or dampness present.
