Seeing if anyone knew stats or an estimate for building an assisted living facility about 300 units with meds and meals would cost.

I am figuring 100,000 per unit.

Thoughts appreciated.I am in Georgia so I know other areas land and construction material is more expensive.

The maximum all-in construction cost should be approximately $175/sf.

Thanks Kofi. Is that an estimate based off of California construction and development costs??

If so Georgia should be much cheaper as labor,land,and materials will be less.

I build one a few years back when I was working with my dad in Valdosta, Ga. The name of the facility is Fellowship Home. It only had about 30 units and was around 15000 sf. It had common areas, kitchen and dining areas for the tenants. Cost depends on so many things but you could build one for around $120 to $150 easy. You could look at the one we built on www.scbarkerconstruction.com under portfolio - medical and also under Interiors. 300 is huge by the way!
