Closing Question
A Seller who is a family member is offering that instead of going to closing with a title company to just process the deed at our city hall since he has done this once before. Since this is our first closing as a company I want to make sure we are good. Is there anything wrong with this process instead of doing a traditional closing with a title company? Interested to hear your thoughts for or against not doing a closing with a title company and instead doing this process he suggested?
