Heading to Birmingham...Any last minute Advice?

After 2 months of researching and networking on BP me and the wife are heading to Birmingham to find some properties. Do any of you old veteran investors out there have any last minute advice for us? If you don't have any investing advice how about some places for some good Southern Food?
