I love my tenants
There are plenty of threads discussing the squatters, professional tenants, dirtbags and dolts. This one is for the renters you love.
Here are mine:
One tenant came in to talk to us yesterday, wondering if the hot water controls could be adjusted on the tub. She hurt hurt knee last week and the doctor told her to soak it in a hot bath. The (new) faucet doesn't allow you to run just hot water - some safety thing - and she couldn't get the bath hot enough. So they have been adding buckets of hot water from the kitchen sink. If I were in her position I'd be very aggravated, but she was very polite and just asked if we could possibly see if it could be adjusted when we had time.
Another tenant came in today to pay his rent for December. He said he might have to be out of town for work at the end of the month and didn't want his rent to be late. Yes, I'll take rent 18 days early...
