Any issues with buying multiple family with tentants
My real estate showed me a multi family property yesterday and both the units in this house are occupied. It is priced to sell (he is also seller's agent) according to him.
Price of the this home is 60K and 1 unit fetches $600 and other unit is $700 currently.
Its an old house (build in 1925) and its already occupied and i will be responsible for all the maintenance going forward.
According to my realtor, seller is tired of owning this property that is why he wants to sell.
My questions are
How do i make sure that this is a good deal and there are no issues in this house?
What are the issues that normally landlord encounters by owning a property?
