I've contacted Jacob and Doug. I need to move to a new property manager.

So everyone's aware, please don't use Right Choice Rentals, Elkhart run by Dorothy New, who's the broker/owner. Address: 2334 Sterling Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516

She's sick and she doesn't respond to emails, voice mails, or any mails. She doesn't provide statements on time, usually a few months late after lots of reminders/hassles, doesn't give feedback on how the properties are performing, doesn't deposit rental money, etc. There were quite a bit of repair that she had to do to both properties after taking over from my first property manager, considering that I've already spent $16k and $8k individually to rehab them before she took them over. After she took over the management, she spent another $2.4k on one and $618 on another before they were rented out. She was good at the beginning in that she helped to tenant both properties, gave me good feedback, etc, but after they were tenanted, that's when the communication sort of disappeared even after daily emails I would send, calls I would leave on her voice which she doesn't pick up, and there's no other person to call. Very frustrating.

This is not what an overseas investor wants with a property manager.

So I've issued an attorney's letter to cancel the management agreement, terminating on 30 May 2011. I wish I could have it terminated earlier. Grrrr.
