Sounds like another Nouveau Riche in the making.

I didn't want to sound like I was necessarily slamming ACN. Like Amway, or any venture really, it is what you make it.

If you Google "ACN Donald Trump", you'll find some very inspirational videos on youtube, that are typical of any company/guru on a yacht type of ad, alluring us with images of financial freedom. They're good ads actually. Then, In the search results on the same page, you'll find people saying the whole thing is a scam. And you'll find some people that give the good, the bad, and the ugly about the whole thing.

It's not for me. The bottom line is you make money by recruiting marketers, not by selling a product. In fact from what I understand you're not allowed to directly market the product. The video phone looks pretty cool actually.

I was pitched in person a couple months ago, And Trump's promotion is one angle they use. They also quote and use Kiyosaki's philosophy to try and sell you, as many real estate "gurus" do. None of them are "allowed" to tell you how much residual income they're making for the number of people they're signed up.

I am not a big fan of MLM.......and this is coming from someone who has had success with the MLM business model, and I know many others that have made a great living at it.

I have personally made some good money with Pre-Paid Legal, and I love the business product they offer. However, the problem is that to be successful with MLM, it takes a lot of work and patience......Let me repeat that, A LOT OF WORK AND PATIENCE.

MLMs are sold on an "easy money" format, and that is just not the case. The issue is that you sign people up, and most are lazy and don't do anything, then they get mad at you for their failure at not making $12K a week in the first couple of months.

It is hard enough to find one or two good hard working folks, let alone the many that you need to create a lifetime income in the MLM system.

In my opinion, It is a model that creates more trouble than it is worth.
