FL Flipper: QuickBooks does NOT call Simple Start users to upgrade - that's simply false. In addition, if people do not want the free Simple Start, they can simply uncheck the box when they order.

As for filing directly with state and paying the state fees directly to them - yep, that is always an option. But the state does not provide the internal docs:

-customized and editable operating agreement (LLCs) or bylaws (corps) and minutes of meetings
-membership certificates (LLCs) or stock certs (corps)

...all of which MyCorp provides for free, as mentioned in the original post.

So many objections to free stuff! Amazing! :)
