no offense, but that is a very dubious site.... it seriously advises people to sue for emotional stress if an item was not removed...
Hi Corey, there's savvy letters there for one that may need to dispute a creditor.
It is free.
If there is something on there you don't agree on, then don't use that part of it.
I was only pointing out the positives of the letters that I know can help those that may be suffering from credit problems and low scores.
Good luck and Best Wishes!
Very good and aggressive website Tony. Most of the people that claim to do credit repair (in my experience) are nothing but scams.
This site seems to know what its talking about.
Excellent do-it-yourself credit repair check out Jay Peters

Thanks for the awesome site i am going to do everything they said to do!
The below is not to be found on this website. Draw your own conclusions.
If you receive $600 or more than the original balance "forgiven" as CC debt you are required by law to file 1099-C forms with the IRS and to send debtors notices as well.
Ex. You owe $10,000, negotiate for $4,000 payment.
Tax liability is $6,000 of "forgiven" income.
Contact an accountant (don't rely on the above)
If one is unaware of the ramifications of "self help" competent professional help should be retained.
As a simple observation, with which one may disagree, this site looks like it was created in a few hours with just a standard template. Furthermore, a "donation" made to this site is a payment, there is no 501(c)3, "nonprofit," status.
The red flag is transmission of CC information to an outside party who does not provide;
(1) company tax identification
(2) company address
(3) company phone number
Never give CC information to any vendor whom you cannot identify and trace.
People should know to change the wording on the letters... the more popular the letter gets the less it works for me. we consistently spin our content to keep it fresh. Change the words for the heck of it
Thank you so much Tony for posting this, I was just about to pay some company to do it. And also Thomas for the tip about changing the wording.
