Hi, i'm in the Maryland area too. Are you hanging up your re license or just wholesaling on the side? I'd love to see if we can work together. I am wholesaling, rehabbing and getting into bulk reo packages. Welcome to the forum!

I'm really leaning towards hanging up the license, but right now I'm weighing the pros & cons of becoming an investor with and without a license. I'm not really utilizing the license because all the leads I get I give to my wife who is also an agent. But on the other hand, because of the new law I have to be a licensed agent to approach people who are in forclosure.

As far as the investing side, I'm just getting started wholesaling. I'm working on building my buyer's list and developing my website now. Also if you're interested in any properties in Baltimore City just let me know.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm really finding alot of information here. Congrats on building such a great website.

I'm pretty much just getting started in the business. My wife has been a realtor for 3 years and myself 1 year.

I want to go into wholesaling for 2 reasons: 1 being so we can have sort of a 1 stop shop as far as dealing with sellers, motivated sellers, investors, and retail buyers. Reason 2 is to build capital to purchase multi-families, do some seller financing, and finally to possibly get involved in the note business. Just started researching the last one.

Do you know of a good course on investing in notes?

Thanks for the complement on BiggerPockets and for telling us more about yourself. It sounds like you and your wife have a good concept for yourselves. I don't have any recommendations on notes courses, but I'd be interested in hearing what the other members think.

Perhaps we can get some good ones and sell them on the site.

Catch you later, Fred!
