Just wanted to post quick and introduce myself. I am Nick, live in Chicago and am just starting to get back into the swing of things when it comes to investing. I did some wholesaling when I was living in Milwaukee a few years back and now I am determined to get up and running once again here in Chicago.

I am always looking to network with other investors and am always more than willing to take any advice and help that is given to me. This forum seems to be one of the better ones out there and I look forward to participating on a regular basis.

Welcome to Bigger Pockets Nick, we have alot of guys from your area here on this site - you can probably link up with some if you want. What made you postpone your wholesaling for a while, and what are you planning to do to kick start it again? Good luck, Mike

Thanks for the response guys. I should be at the next WCRT meeting in August so maybe I will see some of the locals there.

Mike I am really still trying to figure out why I stopped to be honest with you. Starting all over again is no fun. As for how I am getting started. I am getting signs out in the areas I am targeting and putting out business cards for now. In the next few weeks I want to get some mailings out as well. I am still deciding where I want to buy my list from.

I am located downtown in Chicago but am targeting the northwest side of the city and a little bit in the northwest suburbs. I also found a really good neighborhood on the Southside that I want to target. I have lived in Chicago most of my life and have always heard stay away from the Southside. Well I had to go down there for something and found one of those pockets that is actually really good but surrounded by the not so good.
