Newbie in Tampa
At the ripe old age of 54 it finally dawned on me, "Hey, I better start doing something about retirement." And here I am. I've always been interested in real estate and have owned a total of 4 personal residences, including my current condo which is so far under water even when I get the mortgage paid off I'll probably still have negative equity. Buying it was by far the worst mistake in my life, and that's saying a lot considering I have two ex-wives. I have plans to start attending the North Tampa REIA meetings and expect to be ready financially and otherwise to make my first investment in 2016.
