Does anyone here manage property in the US and travel abroad at the same time? It would probably vary depending on how I would stay abroad (I'm thinking around 1-3 weeks), but what steps or suggestions do you have to properly maintain your property when you're out of the country? What types of risks do you see? If anyone has experience in traveling and managing property, it'd be a pleasure to hear from you |

I can’t say that I have experience with this… But 1 to 3 weeks is not a problem… That would be easy to do. |

The rent should not be an issue, if you have enough money or arrange to travel in the middle of the month. The big issue is emergency management. What if a water pipe breaks, or a fire breaks out, or there is storm damage. You need to have someone ready to respond that is capable of handling the situation, will know about it and will get in touch with you. |
