What about the economy in AZ? I hear it really bites. There are businesses folding all over the place, and a record number of foreclosures. What good is it to own real estate there if no one can pay the rent?
A friend of mine lived in Tempe. She worked for a state university. Her entire office was given their walking papers. Now she relocated to the East Coast. This is a typical example of the real estate bubble going "Pop."

Moneypenny, the econompy most everywhere on the west coast bites. But you can still find deals that work. If they don't work, then it's not a deal. That's what investing is all about.

congrats NIck, but I agree with Will. Can't beat CA's beaches and fun =).

Now Will, you have got to admit, that is funny!!!!

California is only a few Rictor Scale points away from needing scuba gear, and a lot of silicone/botox will be polluting our oceans if that happens!!!!! Maybe we need a new environmental campaign!!! LOL

On the other hand:

The problem with AZ is that it is so freaking hot!!

My parents live in Lake Havasu......and I think I have actually witnessed a couple of people spontaneously combust, or it was just an hallucination from heat exhaustion.....either way, it is hot in the summertime!!!

I love when people form the desert tell me it is "A Dry Heat". LOL

Incredibly funny NIck & Harrison! I am still laughing as I am typing.
However, that is just not true. Nick and his crew in AZ will own us much sooner than a 8.0 devastation by the San Andres Fault. They will buy CA for .10 on the dollar and several BP posters will get their +3 commissions on the sale I am sure! :mrgreen:

What good will it do you to own CA or any part of it if it is in the ocean!!!!!!

If any part of it does fall into the ocean, then maybe Redding will cool off a little bit (you think Arizona is Hot? Redding is just the same.. 122 was the record last year, and every year before that.)
