Just wanted to know what everybody think about that? They are trying to mandate the H1N1 vaccine in USA and in a lot of free country.

Every time I get a flu shot I get the flu. The hell if I am going to be forced to have a H1N1 shot. Molon Labe!

Real Estate Investor · Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

I have given this a lot of thought over the last few months.

With two small children in school (kdg & 4th grades) I am concerned that they will also be forced to get the shot.

I have decided that we, as a family, will not participate.

Real Estate Investor · Milwaukee, Wisconsin

I talked to my father, a doctor, last night and he said there is not enough product to make it mandatory for anyone but healthcare professionals nationwide.

Real Estate Investor · Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

I read somewhere that the US government had ordered 195,000,000 swin flu vaccine.
And also France had ordered 100,000,000

Real Estate Investor · Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

Chris, I agree with you, I have 4 kids and none of us will get the shot. I rather home school my children.

Real Estate Investor · Belvidere, Illinois

The last flu shot I received was in 1982 when I was in the Corp, and I got the flu as well. If they want to come out to my house and make me take a flu shot, they better send out one hell of a big nurse.

Real Estate Investor

Please cite where you heard that the shot is going to be made mandatory? Because, I have heard no such thing. The closest I have heard about the H1N1 shot being mandatory is for some professionals working in the medical field (doctors, nurses, etc. that work in hospitals).

· OR

I haven't heard anything about it being mandatory, except that schools can always require each child to be vacinated, and I suppose they could add H1N1 to the list of required vaccines.

I wouold never allow my child to receive any vaccine with as little testing as that one. A couple of months from invention to marketing? Then I hear it's been approved for pregnant women, even though it hasn't been tested on pregnant women. What?

After it's been in use for a couple of years and nobody has grown a third arm, then maybe I'd consider it.

As a generalization, I don't object to mandatory vaccination of school kids. Mine got his vaccines because it was good child care, and I figure the parents that have to be forced are exactly the ones who are most likely to send sick kids to school to infect everyone else. You don't vaccinate your kids, you aren't much concerned about health. (An exception allowed for those who have religious resons not to vaccinate.)

PS: the mandatory law that ticks me off is the banning of incandescent light bulbs. I HATE those energy savers, so I guess I am going to have to stock up on multiple cases of incandescents and hope I don't get caught and thrown in jail for using them.

Real Estate Investor · Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

All my kids have been vaccinated and are up to date with all their vaccines.
But the h1n1 vaccine does not seem right to me.
You had 100X less death from the h1n1 virus than you have with a regular flu.

My experience is exactly the opposite of Jeffrey's; I have received a flu shot for the past 4 years, and have not caught the flu. As they say, YMMV.

I am not a sheep! Furthermore, it is unconstitutional.

I have absolutely no intentions on taking H1N1 Vaccine; and I suggest others to follow my lead.

CDC, W.H.O. Big Pharma, & other eugenists groups have been pushing this stuff on the American people in order to depopulate. Does claim sound outlandish? Do your research. Google H1N1, H5N1 conspiracy & you will be utterly shock what details reveal.

Vaccine has high doses of mercury & squalene that will create a cytokine storm in your immune system. So far, hardly no one has succumed to H1N1. Reason why? Vaccine hasn't been administered in mass quantities yet. Once mass innoculations occur - many will suffer. Unfortunately!

You took the words right out of my mouth. We don't intend to vaccinate our 9 month old son until his immune system is more developed. It's interseting how all the doctors push the vaccinations without really knowing the side effects (although they do enjoy the fees they collect for administering them). And, coincidentally enough, the rate of autism is increasing as the number of "mandatory shots" increases. Hmm. Interesting.... Might have something to do with all that mercury to increase shelf life.

And, for what it's worth. In the State of MI you can sign a waiver to allow the child to go to school without all the "mandatory" shots.

Above and beyond the ridiculous H1N1 immunization is the immunization against chicken pox - something which each child experiences and survives. Chicken pox help develop a healthy immune system!!

Definitely not arguing with the idea that forcing vaccination would be against the principles defined by our Constitution, and I'd certainly fight tooth-and-nail to protect those rights.

But, to the specific point above, the flu shot isn't a new vaccine. It's been around since the 1940s (it was first used during WWII). It's been well tested, and it's adverse effects and risks are well known (not to say that some of those risks aren't severe and even life threatening).

Every year, new strains of the flu are identified and the most common are addressed by that year's flu vaccine. So, each year, the flu vaccine is a little different than in years prior.

H1N1 is just a different strain of the virus that causes the flu, and therefore the vaccine is just a variant of every other flu shot that's ever been created. It is no more or less tested than any other flu vaccine given since the 1940s.

Actually, there's probably more testing done on the H1N1 vaccine than in most vaccines (though I don't know this for certain).

So, to say that this vaccine has "little testing" actually incorrect...or at most only as correct as saying that the flu vaccine in general has had little testing in the past 70 years.

By the way, there was a swine flu vaccine that was commonly given in the 1970s (during the last major outbreak), so even that isn't brand new. Though the 1970s strain was somewhat different as well.

Real Estate Investor · Millsboro, Delaware

Im actually confused by it. Let the people who want to get that vaccine, get the vaccine. The ones who don't, stand the chance of dying, according to these guys. If the vaccine is 100% safe and effective, as they claim, then whats the problem? If you are vaccined, and i'm a carrier and cough on you, you are 100% safe, according to the fda. Why would they force it? If you want it, get it, if not, then why would they care?

I call ********, once again. The drug was never tested extensively, and the H1N1 in this state, has the same rate of death as the seasonal flu virus. I think the vaccine alone is going to kill people. If the plan is to go door to door, and stick people with needles, you better be ready to stare down the barrel of my freshly polished 12 guage autoloader.

Real Estate Investor · Millsboro, Delaware

Jeffrey, its common. vaccines actually weaken the immune system. lots of people get sick, after getting a flu vaccine. ive never had a flu shot. i eat well, exercise, plenty of fresh air, plenty of fresh raw whole foods, and i really don't see being sick with all these crazy bugs.
