I was ready an earlier thread and realized that J Scott is soon to be a dad. I want to say CONGRATULATIONS.

My children are grown and have their own children, but I still remember being a dad.

I think most anyone visiting or taking part in BP knows Jason. He always has some great advice and now will have some advice on being a father.

I'm sure both Tim & Tom will miss your jabs as well. I wouldn't be surprised if you sneak a visit from time to time to keep the boys on their toes.

The one year old is probably young enough that he might quickly forget that the new person wasn't always there.

Life will be exciting for awhile as the new norm settles in.

Hang in there, J! I've ridden 100 mile "Centuries" on my bike in the past, but I don't remember being as exhausted then as I do today chasing our 3 year-old around. It's truly a labor of love.

And remember, the days are long, but the years are short. I'm certain Charles and some others can attest to that.

Best of luck on the final stretch of the gestation race and please let your BP family here know when the little blessing arrives. :D
