This is a question I have always thought about, but never really asked. I understand that the focus is learning the trade and understanding why you do what you do. I am asking this question to hear stories from established investors to reinforce what most people already know, that patience and understanding is needed in this business. Maybe I am asking the wrong questions, but I am curious.

  • 1.When you got to the point when you could comfortably use money earned on yourself, what did your business look like (how long was your business established, what did your portfolio look like etc.)?
  • 2.Once you did use the money on yourself was it worth it? By the way I’m talking about money spent beyond your basic necessities aka splurging.
  • 3.This one is for beginners when do you think you will get to that point where you can say you have made it?
  • 4.Same question for established investors have you felt like you can now say you have made it in the business.
