Yes Streetwise Seller Financing is a great book on seller financing and creating marketable real estate notes. I have learned a lot from Eddie over the years and so have a lot of other professionals in the note business.

I think there are far to many people out there selling information, books, programs and seminars about the note business that are promoting it as a Get Rich Plan. I believe that you can get most of the information you need about real estate notes and seller financing right here!

I also have a warm place in my heart for seller financing as I have been creating and trading notes full time for most of my professional life. I am located in Michigan and over 95% of my business is out of state right now.
While the documents used can vary from state to state, the steps to creating a marketable, seller financed real estate note are the same. Buyers that specialize in buying performing real estate notes at a discount are looking for credit, real equity, security and cash flow. I agree that those looking to get into the business of using seller financing to move properties w/an exit stratedgy of selling of the note should work closly with a note broker, in most areas of the country there are few experienced note brokers. Most note brokers out there have just recently graduated from the same late night TV seminar. Most local note brokers are here today and back to delivering pizzas tomorrow and are ill equipped to explain this concept.

Buying notes and seller financing is where I would like to break into as well. Can anyone recommend some good references or sources that are current and updated?
