Decision to Rehab & Resale or Hold Long Term

What lead to your decision to fix and flip versus hold long term...there seems to be a point where this decision takes place. My personal strategy out of the gate was to rehab and resale, but the grass is looking greener on the other side of the fence right now...thanks in advance for your input.
