Additional Insulation for Existing House
I have a friend in L.A. that needs to add insulation to an older house's attic. She's talked to a couple of contractors that have told her that cellulose is better than icynene and now is talking to another contractor that is recommending Owens Corning AttiCat over icynene.
What say you, BP Nation? I put icynene in our new builds here in Austin at the roof deck, but wonder if there is a reason not to use it in this house.
Also, if anyone is from the area and has a insulation company that they recommend, feel free to pass it along.
