Hello. I am the owner of A professional furniture assembly & renovation service located in New York City. I have built this company and another Handyman service from scratch ans thus far both have been successful because it is something I enjoy. However, I love speaking to my clients and sometimes ask questions as to what rent is in that particular area, and would they commute if they could get out of the city. Th majority told me they paya minimum of $3000.00 monthly in rent and about half said they would love to live outside the city but somewhere close because of their job and they love what New York City has to offer. I am originally from Pennsylvania and remember when you couldn't give the land in Mt. Pocono away, but now with so many people moving out of NY & NJ prices have risen drastically. However, not nearly as much as they will in the next few years. You can still find a home needing a little TLC for $70,000. People who work in the city could honestly pay that off in two years considering what they pay in rent. I have 10 plus years in marketing and am well versed in building and remodeling. I am looking for somewhere where I can work hand in glove with an investor where I would do all the legwork, and do what me and my workers can to improve or fix the property minus materials and work needing to be performed by a licensed tradesman. Then hopefully split the profits! here can I find such investors?
