Can anyone offer any advice on a private placement platform? I have had several opportunities to partner up on a platform, but I don't know enough about them to go for it. Any suggestions?

I suspect they're talking about syndicates, and you can find quite a bit of info about them and PPMs (private placement memorandums) online. Assuming that's the case, then Bill is correct: one can't join a syndicate, and one has to be invited to join one.

In a nutshell, a properly structured syndicate is a private security that has been set up using the SEC section D 506 regulation.
