Thank you for your replies. I have recently set up a self directed IRA. I'm really interested in getting into multifamily (Apts). I guess my first question is; Where do I start? I'd really like to meet with ya'll to talk about this.

Since you've got no experience, I'd say your mission is to get your education going. There is NO rush to get started. DO you know what you'd like to do to get started? Do you want to be a landlord? Are you looking to wholesale? It sounds like you're at the very early stages of learning (correct me if I'm wrong), and I'd tell you to READ before anything else.

Its great to connect with other investors, but you're going to end up bombarding them with questions if you haven't don't your homework - a quick way to turn someone off. Make sure you have some kind of focus, and to do that, again, you need to get reading.

I suggest you start with the forums, our articles directory, the blogs on site, and you'll have plenty of info to keep you busy for months. Then, begin to develop a plan for yourself and you'll be able to start to narrow things down.
