I am working with an investor who buys commercial apartment buildings, min. 100 units nationwide. I am looking for good commercial agents to work with and would appreciate any referrals or suggestions. Or perhaps any good websites to locate commercial properties, aside from loopnet.

I know this post is kinda old but I would like to know is it wise to use a commercial RE/broker to help you find deals? I am thinking of wholesaling commercial properties and would like to know if this is the best route to find deals.

Jeff are you going to buy these properties and close on them and then resell OR are you someone with NO MONEY who is trying to be a middleman??

If you have no money then you have no value.I have my own list of investors who are qualified and want to purchase. If I bring in someone to an off market bank deal and they can't perform I have burned my relationship with that contact.

As a commercial broker if you don't have funds to play with I don't give you my time.If there is a smokin I deal I can lock it up myself and promote to my list of investors.

Not trying to discourage I am just trying to figure out what you are doing and how you will bring value to a transaction.

Joel, I am someone with no money who is trying to be a middleman until I can get up enough cash to purchase properties for myself. I've read many articles, blogs. threads, etc that you don't need money when doing a commercial deal.

I am trying to wholesale these properties and the value I think I will bring is finding the broker a buyer and finding the investor a good deal. I am very new to this and not sure how it works, that's why I am asking.
