Hello BP. I'm Josh. I've been a BiggerPockets member for some time now, but took a little social network hiatus for a bit there. I used to surf these forums religiously (no disrespect to Jesus =) and I gotta say, I've missed them. It's good to be back.
So in addition to being an (albeit novice) investor, I'm also a software developer with about 13 years of professional experience. I'm focused mostly on server-side and web apps, but I know enough about mobile development to hack something together that works. I'm pretty good at what I do, and I'm looking for someone to team up with on the marketing side who is pretty good at what they do to work on projects together.
At the moment, I have two different apps I'm developing. One is an easy to use (and possibly free) alternative to propertytracker.com, and the other is well, it's kind of top secret. Let's just say that I can do things with the phone system you didn't know were possible.
But I suck at marketing. I think it's interesting enough, but I am woefully uneducated and don't have any experience with it. So I am looking for the diametric opposite of me. If you have 5+ years experience marketing and dealing with investors, homeowners, landlords, etc, then please get in touch with me. Internet marketing experience is a must, but traditional real estate marketing (direct mail, bandit signs, etc) experience is also key.
