I am looking for a Real Estate Mentor/Coach that specializes in Commercial Real Estate (Apartment 50+ units and/or Self Storage and/or Mobile Home Park etc).

I am looking for a symbiotic relationship, a situation where I will be some value to my mentor/coach as I do respect and appreciate and have high regards to those who share their TIME and experience.

I had been in Real estate since 2004, mostly investing in Single Family homes and few Multifamily unit (maximum of 6units). I have education in Commercial Real estate with a few years plan and focus on what to achieve - I need help in someone looking over my plan and idea of implementing them with team members and related issues. I am focus, have access to virtual assistants and other team members, self motivated, goal oriented, coach able and self starter.

I will highly appreciate a coach/mentor that will help me as i transit into commercial real estate investing as my full time focus. I am willing to split the profit with my coach/mentor as seem fit for both of us, I am willing to do whatever it takes to make my coach/mentor achieve his/her goals as they help me as well.

Thanks!

Look for someone locally. Builders generally have associations so that would be a decent place to start.

You may also check out the BP syndication group and start to learn about real estate syndication.

SOJ, I suggest you try to tie up with someone locally to learn the ropes, that really is the best route to take since a long distance mentor will just have alot of logistical problems doing deals with someone new, IMO.

Also, you suggested that you want to try your methods, I doubt any commercial investor would be interested in venturing off trying to help someone new in doing deals as they see them being done. Learn the ropes at a local level. Good luck, Bill

Thanks Bryan and Bill.

Bryan .. what is BP from the "BP Syndication" you reffered to?

Also I live and have invested in Canada. Right now I am interested in investing in Commercial Real estate in USA .. likely Jv or wholeselling first few propertyies. The idea is that I want to focus initially on properties I can get below market and that will require little or no money down like using strategies like MLO, Seller Financing with Sub ..etc

Your input is highly appreciated.

I'll send you an invite to the group. Try googling syndication and read up on the basics. There is a lot of content in the group too.

Same here, there is a creative financing group that needs a little more activity, lol, which will cover your strategies. Check out my profile page and if I can assist you there, will do, but you really need to find someone up there as well.

Lucky for you the SFAE Act won't apply, but I would not doubt that you'll have similar rules to follow, if not now, probably later. Maybe your area will be the last great frontier! Good luck, Bill

Thanks Bryan. I will expect your invite. I have idea about syndication - I attended Allan Cogwill seminar on raising funds but I will love to belong to the group to learn more and get taking more action in that area.

The idea of doing cross border commercial investing combined with syndication will becaome "interesting" I believe. "Where there is a will I am sure there will be a way"

Already looking and talking with owners/agents on deals across US that will allow seller financing and/or MLO and/or subordination and combination of these.

I looked into Alan Cowgill's courses a long time ago and they turned me off. Many of the folks that I know that are trying to do similar things went to his courses and were disappointed.

Joel Block also has some great calls and such and is in the BP syndication group. You may try checking that out too.

I sent you the invite to the group yesterday...
