I think there/s another thread on here, started by someone about the TV flippers in ATL, who turned out to be a bit dodgy. IIRC Montelongo's TV shows did not exactly tell the truth. Kinf of like George W. Bush's.

but i didn't read it. I bet you can learn the same info here for free. Waht interesting things did the book say?

I'm confused. In one post, you talk about how unethical and bad this guy is, but in this post you are promoting his book. It doesn't make sense to me. What is the story?

I read Montelongo's e-book. He sells it for $97, but you can buy it for as little as $1.50 on E-bay. In my opinion it isn't worth 50 cents. It is incredibly superficial and is nothing more than a promotion for his course. Some people may find value in it but I feel that you can get much more from reading posts on Biggerpockets than you can in this book.

I should have taken Rehab702's advice!!!!

Instead, I went ahead and got Armondo's ebook from ebay for .99 cents, the sad thing is that I still feel that I got ripped off. This book is a joke!

If your looking for a pep talk book and insults your intelligence, that tells you " you can do it" and " Belief is what separates the haves from the have nots" then this book is for you.

However, if your looking for a book with actual content, step-by-step instructions, and how-to help on how you achieve your RE investing goals, then this book is not for you.

Net-net: Ebook retail $97.00, available on ebay for .99, either way, waste of time and money!!

Thank you biggerpockets for this forum, this site is an invaluable knowledge transfer community!

If there is any question about what Armando is like just watch the $#% show! This guy is a gigantic windbag! I saw an episode recently where he had a huge argument with his wife and his contractor and felt like he was getting " disrespected" . He hopped in the contractors truck and did donuts on the front lawn. Are you kidding me?? I have also heard from people that have attended his seminars that he is a joke. Just say :protest: to Armando!

He does seem pretty full of himself, but I wonder how much of it is for show and how much is actually his personality. Think about it, if they weren't getting in fights all the time, most people wouldn't watch.

What I like best about their shows is that they always get worried that they're going to lose their butts on a flip because somebody decided to replace the cabinets or put in crown molding, then they come out of it making $40k. That's why I think some of his attitude might just be for show. It's obvious a large part of their shows are dramatized.

Is o'le wind bag Armando Montelongo making any more shows? I saw a previous aired showed last week end and I was wondering if he is still making new ones.

A big bag of wasted air as far as I am concerned.
