Anyone read this one? I just got a copy of Secrets of the Millionaire Mind from a friend as a gift. Any thoughts? |

Read it. It takes a great approach to helping you think about how you see money. Basically helps you get into a mindset for becoming wealthy. I recommend it! |

After you read the book... go to the seminars!! Thats where you learn much more. They are phenominal.... no nonsense and all on the money when it comes to dictating your financial blueprint. |

I don't know about those millionaire mind series. Ya so maybe he did some research and found out that the very wealthy live like popers, but any data can be squed. My thought though is that he seems to promote that you should live extremely frugally, way below your means etc etc...I kinda beg to differ. I like Robert Kiosoki's concepts more like he saids he things in terms of "how can I afford it". Like what's the point of taking a path in life like realestate investing and starting to make millions of dollars but not loving yourself enough to reward yourself along the way? What kinda millionaire mind is that. I know people who live that way and they're basically "cheapo's". They've never learned to enjoy the process of spending some money. So I say if it's within your means go for it, and think in terms of "how can I afford it". That's where having a budget would come in even if it's an approximation in your mind. But ya if you're living beyond your means then you definitely got a problem. So as for millionaire mind....well why not rename is "How to be a screwdge". |

r2s246, This book is Secrets of the Millinoaire Mind by HARV T. EKEr not the Thomas J Stanley series, that kiyosaki talks about the frugal mindset. Ive read Millionaire Next Door, and it was very frugal minded, the Eker book should definately have a different philospophy than Stanley's series CSE2 |

This book is outstanding- especially if you're new to the metaphysical laws of wealth attraction (and wealth inhibition). |

I've read this book and HIGHLY recommend it. T. Harv Eker really gets into your head and helps you to understand what in your past (your financial blueprint) is holding you back. He also helps to shatter some of the myths around what it means to be rich. I liked the book so much I attended the Millionaire mind intensive seminar. It has already spurred me to action on several fronts. First, I've really started to put some effort into understanding investing. Second, I've started actively manage my money. Third, I've created a website to help people budget their money and hopefully make some myself. Lastly, once I've managed to save up some money I'm going to jump into real estate. |

I highly recommend this book too. Another good book by Harv is " Speed Wealth," these books are great for getting inspired to take action. If you can ever make it to the Millionaire Mind Intensive, you should do it. It's a 3 day live seminar that's actually worth a few thousand bucks. This seminar will change your life forever. It inspired me when I needed it and I've made at least an extra 6 figures just from what I learned at the MMI. I love Harv Eker and would highly recommend anything with his name on it. Jeff |

Read it once a month for twelve months like he asks you to at the end of the book. You will learn something new each time and the millionaire mindset becomes clearer and clearer with each read. Set the goal, and you will be proud of yourself for accomplishing it. |

I listened to Harv read his book in the audiobook version and I must say it is a really good book. Reprograming your mind to look at money and success in a different way than most average people. That's where wealth building starts. I plan on reading it (listening to it) once a month just like he suggests. I believe that I can actually do this real estate thing, and do well! |

I've been wanting to do it for a while and made the decision to actually attend this year. After I go to my first training, if it is everything that I expect it to be, I plan on taking 6 couples 3 times a year, at my expense. I'll keep you posted. |
