Looks like he is another "Guru" in a long line of "Gurus" that's going to sell us a SECRET way to buy Bulk REOs. I have heard of Tim Mai but never Kenny Rushing, I could not find much info on him.

I posted a reply about him in another forum but it looks like it has been taken down for some reason..

The free houses definitely came across as a gimmick to build a list of potential investors. This is the first I have heard of him but it looks like he has been around since at least 2006.

He supposedly is an investor in Tampa that lost big in 2006-7. He has some videos on *************.com and looks as if he is going to start selling some sort of class. He also has videos of his office and workers on youtube, along with some endorsements.

I like that statement! Anyone can claim to be a guru. A while back I was getting all of the hype on "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and went out and bought his books. Silly me, I got home with the book and then decided to google the author. Only to find out he is just another fraud. I threw the book away still wrapped up.

It seems to me when you got gurus getting endorsements from other gurus that it is worse than no endorsement at all. Anyone that really knows the guru is not going to see it as a positive thing and you lose creditability.

Seems birds of a feather do flock together.

That's a good test Don, like an acid test. The amount of money lost/time in years in real estate X the number of endorsements. The higher the number the further you stay away!

I've personally met and sat with Kenny for a day at his office. Kenny is a respected practitioner located in Tampa. Kenny is now a principal of his own fund with another partner, Robert Gries a owner of several professional sports teams also located in Florida.

His marketing is viral, catches attention and creates exposure for his business avenues which is admirable I must say.
Hes definitely charismatic and leads the pack of the guys in that South Florida speaking group.

His fund does hold product for repositioning investing but like any fund, the protocol to obtain info on un-sanitized tapes is diligent.

I got an email today from Justin Lee talking about the wonders of Kenny Rushing who is willing to cut his tuition in half for his bulk REO trader information.

Here is an inspiring quote from Kenny's website:

You won't need money, credit, or previous experience. And you can do this
with no risk - from home with just a phone and a laptop!

Immediately there is something wrong with this picture. Because we know that you need money, Kenny Rushings at least wants to get paid.

Now it sounds to me if you follow Kenny's teachings and secret strategy, you should be able to sit by the pool, in the airport and watch your money grow. If you like you probably hire someone to take care of the laptop and phone.

Glad to have you on BP. I would actually love to know more about your program. Do you provide your students the bulk REO listings or do you teach them who and how to make contact with the bank?

I know that many times the bulk REO listings available generally are quite stale. So I assume that you have good connections.
